Syrian/Lebanese Pianist Amine Helou was born in 1995 in Safita, Syria. He has started his musical journey in Damascus with Prof. Vladimir Zaretsky, finished his bachelor studies in the Barenboim-Said Akademie in Berlin studying with Professor Emanuel Krasovsky and Giuseppe Guarrera, finished his master in concert performance at Geneva university of Music with Nelson Goerner. “An ambitious young talent.” BBC report. Helou played his debut solo recital in Damascus Opera house in 2019, a solo concert for the ‘UNICEF’ in the Pierre Boulez Saal in 2020, performed major concerts in several countries around the world, including Europe, East Asia and North America. He has participated in various competitions around Europe and the Middle East where he earned Awards and honorable mentions. Took part in classical music festivals such as Haus Marteau in Germany and Virtuoso & Belcanto in Italy.
